If Just for a Day…

The “If Just for a Day” program hosts kids from a variety of local organizations to enjoy a day at the beach – a simple wish that so many of us take for granted.

The summer of 2022 saw 300 happy children from the Gesu School, Caring People Alliance and Youth on The Move Camden, enjoy a wonderful refreshing beach day in North Wildwood and a visit to the Hereford Inlet Lighthouse. The day was topped off with a special Barbecue lunch provided by our dedicated volunteers on the grounds of the lighthouse. Each Child received a CFAH Tee Shirt along with a Beach Bucket and shovel. A great time was held by all.

A huge Thank you to our summer Volunteers along with the City of North Wildwood, North Wildwood Rec Center, Unk Dunk Ice Cream for the donated Treats, the Hereford inlet Lighthouse and the North Wildwood Beach Patrol.

In summer of 2019, we welcomed more than 100 kids from the Caring People Alliance in West Philadelphia to Morey’s Pier for a fun-filled day of water slides and amusement rides.
