For Summer 2026, The Children’s Fresh Air Home is offering two joyful, mission-driven programs designed to give children a restorative experience at the Jersey Shore.
Whether for a single unforgettable day or an overnight retreat, our goal is simple: create a safe, uplifting space where kids can breathe easier, play freely, and feel God’s love.
If Just For A Day (IJFAD)
A Day of Sun, Sand, and Joy — Free for Partner Organizations
Our If Just For A Day program welcomes children’s organizations from across the region for a full day of fun in Wildwood. Partner groups transport up to 50 children to the shore, where the CFAH team provides lunch, activities, and an opportunity to experience the key pillars of our programming.
A typical IJFAD visit includes:
- A warm welcome from CFAH staff
- Supervised beach time filled with play, exploration, and fresh air
- A classic CFAH barbecue lunch prepared by our team
- Time to relax, laugh, and enjoy the beauty of the Jersey Shore
At the end of the day, children return home on their organization’s bus — tired, sandy, and smiling
This program is offered at no cost to participating organizations. Partner organization staff maintain responsibility and supervision of the children throughout the day. CFAH staff and volunteers provide the space, lunch, activities, and beach experience.
Home Rental and Retreat Program
Bring Your Group to the Jersey Shore
The Children’s Fresh Air Home is available for rental by youth and community-serving organizations looking for a unique, fully renovated retreat space just steps from the Wildwood beach and boardwalk.
Whether you are planning an overnight retreat, a day program, a team-building experience, or a faith-based gathering, our Home offers a one-of-a-kind setting that no hotel or conference space can match.
Rental fees directly support the ongoing mission and operation of the Children’s Fresh Air Home, helping us continue providing no-cost programming to the children we serve.

How it works:
- Your organization rents the Home for a day visit or overnight stay at an affordable, mission-aligned rate

- Your organization is responsible for supervision of participants and care of the Home during your stay
- CFAH provides access to the fully renovated Home, outdoor spaces, and the unmatched setting of the Wildwood coastline
